Spring Fling - Little Rock
The Spring Fling - Little Rock is a multi-distance running event held at Cullen Park, organized by the Bigfoot Running Company. The event features a festive atmosphere with a live DJ, name announcements at the finish line, and the presence of a mascot. Participants can choose from several road and trail distances, with the course consisting of mixed surfaces including pavement, crushed granite, and dirt paths. As the event takes place in a public park, the route may be shared with other park users.
Available distances include:
- 10K Run (6.22 miles)
- 5K Run (3.11 miles)
- 1 Mile Run
- Kids Dash (50m)
- Virtual Run (13.1 miles)
The 5K and 10K races are chip-timed, and awards are presented to the top overall male and female finishers, as well as the first-place masters (40+) runners. Standard age group awards are provided in three-deep categories ranging from 10 and under to 70 and over. The 1 Mile Run and the Kids Dash (for ages 10 and under) are not chip-timed events.
All participants receive a finisher medal and a race shirt. Aid stations are positioned along the course, and refreshments are provided at the finish area. Registration is open to all experience levels, with special pricing available for participants aged 12 and under in the timed events.
