Turkey Shuffle - Corpus Christi
The Turkey Shuffle takes place at Heritage Park in Corpus Christi, Texas, on the listed event date. The event offers multiple in-person races and a virtual option across a range of distances, plus a Kids Dash for children.
Distances offered:
- Kids Dash: about 50 m for ages 10 and under
- 1 Mile: not chip timed
- 5K (3.11 miles): chip timed
- 10K (6.22 miles): chip timed
- Virtual Run: 6.22 miles
- Volunteer then Run: 5K option with volunteer duties
Course surfaces may include paved trails, crushed granite, and occasional dirt paths. Aid stations will be available on course to provide water and basic assistance. Packet pickup is offered beginning 1.5 hours before the event start time. All finishers receive a medal and a shirt; a shirt guarantee cutoff is set at 10 days before the event.
Awards and recognition are provided for the 5K and 10K. The 1st overall male and female receive trophies; masters (age 40+) receive special recognition pins. Age-group awards (gold, silver, bronze pins) are listed across brackets from 10 and under through 70+.
A costume contest is part of the event; winners receive a "Biggest Turkey" trophy, a certificate for two future race entries, an HEB gift card, and a Bigfoot Running Company swag pack. The event proceeds rain, shine, hot, or cold and follows a no-refund policy; transfers to virtual or other events or transfers to another entrant are available per event terms.
