Bigfoot 5K and 1 Mile, Honobia OK
The event comprises two running distances held at Christ 40 Acres in Honobia, Oklahoma, at 37529 Indian Trail near the intersection with State Highway 144. Registration is free and open to the public.
Pre-registration and onsite registration are provided. Registration opens in mid-August 2026 for the two events and closes September 24, 2026. To be guaranteed an event T-shirt, registration must be completed by September 7, 2026 at noon.
The courses include:
- 1 mile: course of one mile; must be completed within 30 minutes.
- 5K: 3.1 mile course; includes about one mile on dirt and must be completed within one hour.
The venue is in a remote mountain area with limited services. There are no ATMs, no nearby gas stations within the immediate town, no public Wi-Fi, and most cell phones will not have service. The organizer notes the closest gas station is about 18 miles away, and participants should expect limited infrastructure at the site.
