The Bigfoot race begins at Marble Mountain Sno-Park and follows the southwestern side of Mount St. Helens, a volcano that erupted in 1980. The route runs entirely on singletrack and crosses a variety of mountain terrain, including lava fields, stream crossings, and old-growth forest.
The course distance is 21.1 miles with an elevation gain of 4,178' and an elevation loss of 4,146'. There is one full aid station located at mile 12.2. The event uses National Forest lands and has a nine hour cutoff for completion. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
