Big Woods Run
Big Woods Run takes place on September 26, 2026, at St. John’s United Church of Christ on Jacobs Avenue in Faribault, Minnesota, located just south of Big Woods State Park.
Race options include:

- 10K
- 5K
The course combines paved roads and cross-country trails, passing through sections of Big Woods State Park and the surrounding southern Minnesota countryside during the peak of fall colors. The event uses the church property for registration and the start area, which is situated south of the state park.
Participants receive homemade food after the race, including fresh cookies and soup. Race registration fees are non-refundable and cannot be transferred to another person or event. Walk-up registration is available at the church on the day of the event.
