Beer City Half Bishop Ranch
Beer City Half Bishop Ranch takes place at Bishop Ranch in San Ramon on September 11, 2027. The event programme includes road and trail running options around Annabel Lake, the Iron Horse Trail, and Bollinger Canyon Bridge, plus a set of community activities in the afternoon.
Race entries for the longer courses include a Beer City race t-shirt, a tasting glass, and The Key to Beer City finishers medal. Half marathon, 10K, and 5K finishers receive unlimited tasting at the end of their run served in a 7-ounce tasting cup. The Beer Stroll is untimed and includes the same shirt, tasting glass, medal, and unlimited tasting; participants in the Beer Stroll are not ranked.

The Beat The Beast Beer Mile requires drinking four 12-ounce beers with 1/4 mile runs between each; it awards a special medal and pin and enforces elimination rules for competitors who vomit. The Top Dog Dash is a short fundraiser for Love & Second Chances and includes a two drink Shindig pass for dashers. The SHINDIG afternoon area features music and games; it is free to enter but additional drink packages are sold separately. A Lazy Friend Beer Only Pass grants access to tasting until noon without participation in races. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
