Bear River Backyard Ultra
The Bear River Backyard Ultra is an endurance event held on Tubbs Farm behind The 61 Drive-in Movie Theater in Delmar, IA. The main format uses a 4.16 mile loop that each participant completes every hour on the hour until only one participant remains.
The event also includes a community run of approximately 4 miles. Runners receive a 10x10-foot camp space for a personal aid station and may bring one to three crew members to assist during the event. All registered runners receive a custom Bear River Backyard Ultra hockey sweater at packet pickup.
Prizes are awarded to the top male and female finishers, with prize amounts determined by total registration numbers. Food and beverages are provided throughout the event; participants may bring additional supplies or nutrition for their own use. Registration is listed at $200 and the field will be capped at 250 participants. Registration closes on Thu, Nov 5 at 11:59 PM CT.
