Bamburgh Castle Wild 10km Trail Run
The Bamburgh Castle Wild 10 km Trail Run is a new addition to the Bamburgh Castle weekend programme, held alongside Sprint and Standard duathlons and with cycle sportives on the following day. Routes run on paths and trails around Bamburgh Castle and the adjacent beach on the Northumberland coastline. The exact route will be confirmed soon.
The event is described as suitable for all fitness levels and is canicross friendly, allowing one controlled dog per runner. Live chip timing will be provided by Timing Up North. All finishers receive an event medal, Wild Deer merchandise, a snack and a drink. An exclusive event T-shirt is available to purchase for £14 when registering.
Location information is given as Car Park, Links Road, Bamburgh, NE69 7AX. On-site parking is available for £4 with payment taken on the day by cash or card; competitors may be directed to public parking nearby if on-site capacity is reached.
