Back-to-School Bash
Back-to-School Bash is the only trail run in The Oak Series, held at Central Florida Bible Camp in Eustis, FL. The event combines a short trail course with field day style activities placed along the route.
The course follows about a 1.6 mile loop that includes off-road trails and paved terrain. The Trail Run and Field Day divisions require two loops, making the total distance about 3.2 miles. The Fun Run division completes one loop.
Three divisions are defined by participation and course length. The Fun Run Division completes one loop, may choose whether to use any of the ten field day stations, does not have an official time recorded, and receives a finisher medal. The Trail Run Division completes two loops and does not participate in the field day stations. The Field Day Division completes two loops and must participate in all ten stations at least once.
Field day stations appear along the route and include activities such as an inflatable obstacle course, soccer goal kick, axe throwing, slingshots, disc golf, hurdle hop obstacle course, ping pong shot, cornhole toss, tube crawl, and backyard bowling.
