Aulanko Tower Trail
Aulanko Tower Trail is a trail running event held in the park and forest landscapes of Aulanko near Hämeenlinna. The event is part of the Trail Tour Finland series and offers two route options.
- 22 km route through varied terrain.
- 13 km route through varied terrain.
Both routes run on trails that include rocky sections and exposed roots, pine forest and heathland, a so-called ghost forest, open rock faces, steep climbs and runnable descents. The longer route accumulates about 550 metres of ascent and includes an approximately 3.5 km section on a forest road type track. The shorter route has more than 350 metres of ascent.
Aulanko is accessible by public transport via Hämeenlinna, and the town railway station is about three kilometres from the event centre. By car, travel time to Aulanko is around two hours from both the capital region and Central Finland. The area provides a range of summer activities and services suitable for families during the event period.
