ATW St Albans Summer 10K
The ATW St Albans Summer 10K takes place on 18 July 2027 at Highfield Park, St Albans, Hertfordshire. The main race is a chip timed 10K held on a single-lap route that starts and finishes in the event village.
The course follows the scenic Alban Way, a flat, tree-lined former railway line, loops through Sleapshyde and returns along the Alban Way. The route is predominantly traffic free, with tarmac underfoot for most of the course and a grass finish in the event village. Experienced pacers are available and marshals and volunteers provide support along the route.
The event includes an event village with a free Family Fun Run, a Kids' Zone and the Cow Juice Café for refreshments. After the race there are post-race sports massages, finish-line snacks and ice cream. Professional photographers take event photos that can be downloaded free of charge. Every finisher receives a bespoke medal.
The event lists a charity partnership with Alzheimer's Research UK and fundraising opportunities appear at checkout. Parking is available for a charge of £3 depending on field conditions. St Albans City Station is about a 1.5 mile walk from the venue. The organiser is Active Training World (ATW), a national events company established in 2011 that runs a range of running and multisport events.
