Assault on Yonah Mountain is a time-limited uphill race from the base to the summit of Mount Yonah. The course covers 2.5 miles with approximately 1600 feet of elevation gain. The event uses a 2 hour 15 minute cutoff.
There is a ruck division option for participants who carry a pack. All finishers receive a medal, and the top three men and top three women receive custom awards.
Logistics require that all participants park at the start line. After reaching the summit, runners return to their vehicles by hiking or jogging the same 2.5-mile route downhill; there is no finish line parking.
