Armadillo Dash 5K & Half Marathon Trail Run
The Armadillo Dash is a trail running event held Saturday November 21st on the Bonnet Carre Spillway trail in Norco, west of New Orleans at the Boat Launch pavilion. The event offers two distances.

- Half Marathon
The trail course includes quick turns and both uphill and downhill sections. Several wood bridge crossings are on the course; those crossings can be slippery or require caution when wet. The event is not a mud run and the course surface will depend on weather. The course is well marked. The 5K follows one loop out and back.
Packet pickup is available on race day at the race site. In-person registration is offered during packet pickup. Participants receive a race bib with an RFID timing chip affixed, a t-shirt, and additional sponsor swag.
Event swag and cost information is provided: a medal is given to all participants; 5K entrants receive short sleeve shirts and half marathon entrants receive long sleeve shirts. Listed entry costs are $65/75/85 for the half marathon and $30/35/40 for the 5K.
Post race refreshments are supplied by several sponsors, and awards are given for 1st overall male and female plus 1st place in age groups 14-under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 and over. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
