About the race
Jangover Night Runs takes place on September 18, 2027 at McDowell Mountain Regional Park in Fountain Hills, Arizona. The event is part of the 2027 Insomniac Night Trail Run Series and offers multiple night trail distances.
- 75K
- 50K
- 25K
- 15K
- 7K
Courses use rolling desert single track and old jeep trail. The longer distances are based on multiples of the Pemberton Trail Loop, which has about 800 feet of elevation gain and loss per 25K loop. All Pemberton loops run in a clockwise direction; the 7K and 15K use a hilly Scenic Trail option.
Aid is provided at a main start/finish station and at a remote Granite Tank aid station on the long loop. Aid stations include water, ice, electrolyte drinks, salty and sweet snacks, fruit, pb&j, bean rollups, and hot food options. Some distances also have a water-only station at the Pemberton Trailhead. This is a cupless race; participants should plan to use a reusable cup or purchase one on site.
Crews may access the start/finish area and drop bags are available there. Pacers are allowed only for the 75K beginning with the third loop. Time limits apply (for example, the 75K has a 14-hour limit and the 50K has a roughly 13-hour limit) and loop cutoffs are enforced.
Logistics note: parking for longer distances is at the Pemberton Trailhead; 25K, 15K and 7K parking is at the Four Peaks staging area with a shuttle running regularly. The park charges an entry fee per vehicle. Medical staff will be based at the start/finish and live split tracking and chip-timed results are provided. Race perks include a branded race goody, finish line photo, finisher award, and podium awards for top finishers. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
