Anthony’s Amici 5K Trail Run and 1.4 Mile Walk
The event features a chip-timed 5K trail run and an untimed 1.4 mile walk, held at Garrett Williamson in Newtown Square, PA. The day also includes an all-day celebration with live music, a DJ, pop-up dance and karaoke contests, and a variety of on-site activities.
Awards for the 5K include medals and gift cards for men, women and children across age groups. Pop-up dance and karaoke contests offer trophies and gift cards to selected winners. Official 5K results are managed by Bryn Mawr Running Company.
On-site offerings include complimentary grab-and-go breakfast, lunch and dinner items, desserts, water, sports drinks and root beer soda. Additional attractions comprise games such as bocce ball, cornhole and horseshoes, face painting, a balloon artist, raffle baskets, a baked goods sale, and event merchandise. Some sales and raffles are cash or Venmo only.
Proceeds are allocated to an entrepreneurship endowment at the Sutardja Center for Entrepreneurship and Technology at the University of California, Berkeley, supporting programs with a preference for entrepreneurship, blockchain and technical innovation. Registration is individual and fees vary by registration date. The venue does not permit pets, firearms, archery equipment or fireworks.
