Dare to Go Bare 5K
The 33rd annual Dare to Go Bare 5K is scheduled for April 11, 2027 at Lake Como Family Nudist Resort. The event includes a 5K run and a 2K walk and is held on the private resort grounds.
Distances:
- 5K run - about 50% pavement and 50% nature preserve trail
- 2K walk - 100% pavement
Advance online registration is required and registration details are to be announced. There will be no registration at the event. Run registration permits participation in the run, the walk, or both, and the run registration fee includes use of all resort facilities for the remainder of the day. Each runner may bring one non running guest without additional charge.
The event is open to all ages. Persons under 18 must be accompanied into the resort by a parent or legal guardian, and runners under 12 must run accompanied by their parent or legal guardian on the course.
Awards are planned for the 5K and 2K. The 5K includes medals three deep for men and women in seven age groups plus overall and grand master trophies. The 2K walk includes overall medals with three deep placements for men and women.
Photography by participants or guests is not allowed and the organizers will not photograph the run. Names and finish times are not published; runners may note their time on the large race clock at the finish.
Participants should bring photo ID and a towel to place on seating when nude. Water and fruit will be provided, showers are available, and wrist bracelets may be offered for carrying keys. Nudity is not strictly required for the run, but the resort requires nudity in pool, hot tub and sauna and allows it throughout the grounds.
