About the race
The Amerongse Berg Trail is a trail running event that uses the forests and heath around Amerongen on the Utrechtse Heuvelrug. The event is based at Boshotel - Overberg and the routes pass notable landscape features such as the Eenzame Eik. Paths include single tracks, forest trails and open heath with varied terrain and steep climbs; the routes were coordinated with the area managers.
Distances offered:

- 17 km, 155D+ elevation, aid at 8 km and finish.

All routes are fully marked with arrows and tape. Elevation gain begins after the first kilometre. A GPX file and extra information are emailed to participants in the days before the event. The event is organised by Trail Events and supported by partners including Boshotel Overberg, Staatsbosbeheer and the Gemeente Utrechtse Heuvelrug. Maximum attendee capacity is 1216.
