Amazing Race: Chamber Series
The Amazing Race: Chamber Series is a team-based adventure race held on April 3, 2027, in New Smyrna Beach at 520 Barracuda Blvd. The course sends two-person teams through the heart of the city and includes more than 20 obstacles that mix puzzles, problem-solving, and physical tasks. The listed event distance is 5 Miles.
Each team must consist of exactly two racers and each participant must register individually; registration asks for the teammate's name. Racers must be at least 10 years old on race day. Teams that include participants aged 10–15 must also include at least one racer age 18 or older.
Race bibs are required and must remain clearly visible from start to finish. All participants must wear the official event race shirt with the race logo visible and the bib attached underneath. Participants should expect to get wet during the course and must keep shoes on for safety. Organizers note that no participant will be asked to lift anything unreasonably heavy; volunteers can adjust tasks that feel unsafe.
Only registered racers are allowed on the course; spectators may use designated areas or volunteer. If a racer cannot finish, volunteers will assist and arrange transport or medical care as needed. An optional Buy-Out Challenge is available for $20 cash per team. Packet pick up is scheduled for April 2 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Award categories include overall fastest team, fastest female team, fastest male team, fastest co-ed team, and best costume. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
