About the race
The All Paws on the Ground 5K is part of the Dog Daze of Summer weekend at Uncle John's Cider Mill in Saint Johns, Michigan on August 7, 2027. The event is a fundraiser for a nonprofit agency and includes both an in person 5K and a virtual 5K option.
Distances:
- 5K
- Virtual 5K (3.1 Miles)
In person entries include a race t shirt, sponsor giveaways, and access to event activities. T shirts and participation medals are guaranteed for registrations completed through July 15, 2027; remaining supplies are available while they last after that date. Virtual participants may walk or run at their own location and date; shirts and participation medals are mailed and shipping is included.
Registration details and fees are published for each option. Families who register three or more people at the same time receive a five dollar per person discount. Donations can reduce the registration cost: a one hundred dollar donation makes the race entry free if completed by July 30, 2027; other donation discount levels are available.
Dogs on leash are welcome to participate; organizers reserve the right to ask dogs to leave if they are not doing well. There will not be an awards ceremony; participation medals are distributed as participants finish. The event notes that weather could affect planned activities and that registration fees are non refundable. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
