Participants may see local wildlife such as deer and box turtles and will pass a number of historic monuments.
All participants receive a custom 3-inch holographic Ratrie Arboretum sticker and one raffle entry with prizes that include local gift cards, original artwork and prints, a handcrafted rustic log birdhouse, and a music CD. Awards are presented to overall first place male and female finishers and to first place finishers in the following age categories: 14 and under; 15 to 18; 19 to 25; 26 to 35; 36 to 45; 46 to 55; 56 to 65; and seniors 66 and older.
