Air Force Marathon

The Air Force Marathon is an annual endurance event held each September at Wright Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, Ohio. Races and associated activities take place at the National Museum of the United States Air Force and at Wright State University Nutter Center during race weekend.

Event options include a range of race distances and formats:

Race weekend programming includes a Health and Fitness Expo, a Gourmet Pasta Dinner, and a Finish Line Festival at the National Museum of the United States Air Force. The Health and Fitness Expo is the location for participant packet pick up, which includes the race bib, T shirt, and goodie bag.

The event offers several challenge series and divisions such as the Aim High challenges, Stratosphere Challenge, Ruck Division, and the Armed Forces Series Challenge. Accommodations for athletes with disabilities are referenced as part of the athlete offerings. Registration policies allow transfers to other events when space is available and permit deferral to the following year under defined conditions.
