Weekend in Wentworth 2027
A multi-day trail running event held June 12–13, 2027 at Wentworth Provincial Park in Wentworth, NS. This will be the seventh year the event is held at the park. Registration details in the source note that registration closes June 9 and transfers are available until that date. The organizer states there are no refunds or deferrals and recommends purchasing a refund guarantee which cannot be added after signup. Published registration fees range from USD 79 to USD 157.
Event options include:
- Up to 24 hour running option
- 32 hour option; 100 miles earns a buckle, 200 km also earns an engraved bottle
- Six hour option on Sunday
The course is a loop of approximately 4.5 km, combining single track, gravel and a short paved section. The route is described as low technical with low elevation and no per-lap time limit; participants may complete as many laps as they wish. This is a cupless event; cups will not be provided. One aid station at the start/finish will supply water, an electrolyte drink, lap-marking boards and basic nutrition. Participants may camp the night before free of charge and may set up personal aid stations in the park. Each participant will receive a customized finishing sticker. Ten dollars from each registration will be donated to the Wentworth Food Bank. The event has a Hawaiian theme and organizers encourage appropriate lighting and reflective gear for running past dusk.
