8 Hours at the Farm
This event takes place at Gurski Farm / Williams Park in Brookfield, CT. Runners use a rolling country course made up of single track and farm trails that form a four mile loop. All race formats run on the same loop and the course is marked with flags and signage.
The event is offered as a timed format with multiple options:
- 8 Hour timed event on a 4 mile loop
- 4 Hour timed option on the same 4 mile loop
- 5K and 5K Canicross added for 2026
Aid is available at the start/finish aid station with water or electrolyte drink and typical snack items such as chips, pretzels, and candy. The event is cupless; runners must carry their own hydration bottle, pack, or cup. Entry fees vary by event and registration period, and registration opens January 1.
Race rules require staying on course, no littering, and notifying course marshals if a runner drops out. Organizers may remove runners from the event for safety or rule violations. Finishers receive awards and specially designed medals, with additional podium awards for top overall finishers in the timed events. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
