5 Peaks Whitemud Park
5 Peaks Whitemud is the second event of the 5 Peaks Northern Alberta Trail Running Series and is held in Whitemud Park in Edmonton’s river valley. The course includes hard pack, bridge crossings, fast singletrack, and a downhill run to the finish.
The route contains many technical sections that require agility and alertness to negotiate roots, rocks, and steep up and downhills. The sport course is approximately 8.3 km and the enduro course is a single loop of approximately 13.4 km.

Facilities and event notes: washroom facilities are available at the start and finish area. The event is cup free; water and electrolyte drink are available at the start and finish and at one or more aid stations on course. Participants who expect to be out longer than an hour are advised to carry a receptacle for liquids and calories. Parking is limited and spectators are welcome with best viewing from the start and finish area. Swag and optional finisher medals are not included in registration and may be purchased at registration or on site while supplies last. Medals are awarded to top three finishers in each gender and age category per distance and to top three male and female overall. Volunteer opportunities are available.
