24h Tremblant - event overview
24h Tremblant is a 24-hour team relay event held on Mont‑Tremblant where teams of six to twelve participants alternate on course or on the mountain. The event offers multiple disciplines: alpine ski, snowboard, randonnée alpine (mountain ascent), walking, running, and a mixed walk & run category. Participants take turns so that the team keeps moving throughout the 24-hour period; team relays are managed from a designated transition zone.
Fundraising is a core element: participants undertake a donation drive and all profits are distributed to five foundations dedicated to the cause of children. Each registered participant commits to a fundraising minimum of 500 $.
Some discipline specifics from the event rules:
- 5 km course for walking, running, and hybrid relays
- 875 m total ascent for the randonnée alpine route from the south base via an intermediate trail
Other operational details include limits on how many team members may be on a course or piste at the same time (for example, one participant at a time on ski pistes, up to two at once on the running course, and whole teams allowed on the randonnée alpine track), timing chip arrangements, and a three‑day lift ticket included for certain mountain disciplines. Teams register under a captain and must be composed of between six and twelve people.
