Trail Running calendar near Ballynally 2026-2027

A NIMRA medium-distance fell race at Gortin Glens covering 12 km with 500 m ascent to Mullaghcarn (542 m). Trail shoes are advised, entries are limited to 200 and the minimum age is 17.

A 3.8 mile off road race to the summit of Lurig (1,073 ft) and back, held as part of the Heart of the Glens Festival. Trail shoes are advised; minimum age 16 and the published entry fee was £25.

A four day event on Inishowen offering full and half marathon options across separate coastal routes covering 105 miles along the Wild Atlantic Way.

A mountain running event along the Seven Sisters ridge in the Derryveagh Mountains offering 55km, 30km and 16km races. The 55km and 30km are UTMB Index races and several prize purses are awarded.

A 20 mile coastal trail run from Portrush along the Causeway Coast Way featuring cliffs, beaches and the Giant's Causeway UNESCO site. The event counts toward the Endurancelife Season Leaderboard.
